Thousands of young girls every year make their first steps in the fashion industry, but only few of them are successful. Being successful in the fashion industry doesn't bring fame only, it brings a lot of money too. The top 10 highest-paid models for the last 12 months have earned little less than 100 million dollars.

Gisele Bundchen stays on the top of this list. Long legged beauty veteran on the fashion runway gets the title of  the "Highest paid model in the worlds" for several years in a row.

With earnings of around 45 million dollars she is on the top of the list, while Kate Moss is second with 9,2 million dollars.

Last year Heidi Klum was placed number 2, and she would be number 2 this year with 20 million dollars earned. But Forbes thinks that after she said that she is retiring she should be placed under the category of business woman.

The list is created for the period of May 1 2011 until May 1 2012.
