"Manchester United is pleased to confirm that a deal with Borussia Dortmund, regarding Shinji Kagawa, was made. The player will have a medical exam and get a work permit. Whole deal will be concluded by the end of June." - Manchester United announced.
After long negotiations Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund have come to an agreement about the transfer details for Shinji Kagawa, Japanese offensive player. The whole deal is worth 22 million euros.
The clubs negotiated for weeks. First offer was around 19 million euros, but the German champion rejected the offer, but they didn't reject the second offer of 22 million.
Borussia Dortmund did a great job, when it comes to the value of Kagawa. They bought the Japanese player from Cerezo Osaka in 2010 for 350.000 euros, and managed to sell him 70 times more in two years.
Kagawa scored 17 goals and made 13 assistance in 43 games in the last season for Borussia Dortmund and was one of the key players for the German champion.
