The fattest cat in the world

Overweight is a common problem among pets. Pets enjoy sitting and sleeping around and usually have limitless sources of food. Sponge Bob is probably the fattest cat in the world.

When he was first weighed,the nine years old cat weighted 15 kilos. almost like an average 3-year old kid.
The volume of his stomach is around 1 meter and 30 centimeters.

Sponge Bob gained weight because his previous owner was very old and didn't  regulate his diet. After she wаs transferred to a nursing home, the cat was moved to the Animal Center.

"We've opened the box and we were amazed. That is the biggest cat we've ever seen." - said Kendra Mara from the animal protection organization who took care of Sponge Bob.

Curently Sponge Bob is on diet and he managed to lost weight of around 2 kilos. The Center employees hope that Sponge Bob will be adopted soon.
