Eurovision song contest 2012 winner accused of plagiarism!

Judging by the comments around the web Swedish Eurovision 2012 winner Loreen is accused for plagiarism. Her song "Euphoria" is a copy-paste of the song "Stole my Heart" from the English-Irish band  One Direction. Even before the contest this song was bashed by the critics that in some parts sounds just like Rihanna`s - "We Found Love" or even Katy Perry - "Fireworks".
However most similar song to Euphoria is Stole My Heart. See for yourself

    1. I`m sure if that happens Eurovision will compensate them with big money offer. And I agree the song / the rhythm is the same.

    1. It sounds similar but I think experts should state their opinion because they know the best what is considered to be plagiarism.

  3. But Stole My Heart sounds like Taio's Dynamite? Are you guys seriously arguing about the 'originality' of todays dance-pop music? :/ LOL

    1. Pop songs are similar but at least the winning song on Eurovision should be unique.

    2. And if One Direction would release Stole My Heart and it became #1 on the charts... you would use the same argument, right? LOL

    3. Not definitely? If not definitely, it would merely prove that you are nothing more than a delusional fan or someone who isn't aware of the state of pop music today. There are absolutely no grounds for plagiarism regarding a beat that has been used way before Loreen, way before One Direction and way before Taio Cruz.

    4. Well most people agree that even when they first listened to the song that it did sound very familiar.
