The statue of Alexander The Great is situated in the "Macedonia square" in the capital city of Macedonia - Skopje. The monument/fountain is part of the project called "Skopje 2014" and was officially revealed on 8th of September 2011 in tribute to the 20 anniversary of Macedonia`s independence.
The statue is 14.5 meters high, made out of bronze and placed on a 10 meters high pedestal. Under the statue there is a fountain.
