2012 NBA draft lottery fixed?

New Orleans Hornets is the first team to pick players in this year`s draft. The bare fact that the "pole-position" was granted to this team caused various reactions in the US public, and part of the public thinks that this is a clear example of fixing.

In New York it was announced in which order the teams will pick players in this year`s draft on June 28th. The center of Kentucky University - Anthony Davis - is considered to be the biggest talent and a player which every team wants to have in their squad, and the possibility for the Hornets (the only NBA team which was owned by the NBA until recently) to get this player first caused harsh reactions from other NBA teams.

The owner of the NBA league David Stern sold the Hornets in April this year to the tycoon Tom Benson, owner of a football team from the same city. Some of the highest ranking officials in the NBA league, and some of the players believe that this is the reason why the New Orleans Hornets won the lottery - this was just a charade as a part of the deal made in April.

During the live broadcast of the lottery the camera did not show the actual moment of balls being picked. At least 10 NBA players spoke out via Twitter and condemned the lottery saying it was fixed. Among them Kevin Love, Rip hamilton and DeMarcus Cousins.

Meet the real "Incredible Hulk" from Brazil

Paulo Enrique Dos Santos (35) from Vila Cruzeiro, Brazil dressed himself like the "Incredible Hulk" for the local festival. In order to look more real he painted his body, but when he got back home he realized that he can't wash the color.

Dos Santos has painted his body in previous years but this time he didn't pay attention to the type of paint he bought in the local store. Instead of the usual paint he bought paint used for painting projectiles and submarines.

"I was scared that I will get poisoned by the toxic painting" - said "the real incredible Hulk" for the local media, but the doctors assured him that he will be fine. It took 24 hours and a long bath for him and his family to take off the paint.

The statue of Alexander The Great is situated in the "Macedonia square" in the capital city of Macedonia - Skopje. The monument/fountain is part of the project called "Skopje 2014" and was officially revealed on 8th of September 2011 in tribute to the 20 anniversary of Macedonia`s independence.
The statue is 14.5 meters high, made out of bronze and placed on a 10 meters high pedestal. Under the statue there is a fountain.

ACTA finally stopped in Europe!

The European Parliament made clear that it is against the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA), after three of its committees rejected the agreement.

The Law committee, The committee for industry, research and energy and The civil rights,justice and internal affairs committee voted AGAINST the agreement today. ACTA was a trigger for many protests and reactions across Europe.

Opinion about ACTA is expected from The international trade committee, after that the European Parliament will have a vote about ACTA on 21 June. Judging by the bad publicity and the reactions of the various committees in the European Parliament the ACTA will fail to gain support even in the first phase of implementation.

In case some twist happens, it's very certain that the Dutch parliament won't accept this agreement. The Dutch MPs voted against ACTA this week in their own national parliament, saying that the Dutch government won't accept the agreement even if it gets support in the European Parliament.

Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi is allegedly one of the most expensive prostitutes in the world. According to one Hong Kong tabloid, Zhang is involved in the world of high - class prostitution. The journalist from the tabloid claim that Ziyi has slept with many top ranking Chinese politicians for millions of Yuans per night. The news has spread around the globe and the management team of the actress denied this claims.

Also they have denied that Zhang Ziyi is under police investigation.
"We are sending message to those who spread this rumors that we will find them and we will clear this speculations" - the management team of Zhang Ziyi said.
Zhang has scandalous past and the fact that she had the leading role in the movie " Memoirs of a Geisha" doesn't help her either!

Al Qaeda had training camps in Macedonia

Three training camps for terrorists were active on the territory of Macedonia, Macedonian professor Ivan Babamovski from the Faculty of Security claims.

On the seminar in Skopje dedicated to the battle against extremism, he warned that the situation in Macedonia and in the region regarding security is very bad and that after the five-fold murder in Macedonia, that took place in April this year, Macedonia might face another wave of terrorist attacks.

Babamovski said that 25 members of a ethnicity living in Macedonia (probably Albanians) have passed the terrorist training in Tehran, Iran.

He also said that the killing of four young Macedonia men and a fisherman near Skopje, Macedonia is certainly an act of terrorism.

"Regardless of this situation, the members of the anti-terrorist coalition don't help Macedonia financially nor technically" - Babamovski said.

The Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez gave a house as a gift to his 3 million follower on Twitter - the nineteen year old Venezuelan girl - Natalia Valdiveso.

Natalia was visited by a government delegation this Wednesday at her home and they have informed her that she will be an owner of a house - RIA Newsagency says.

The generosity of Hugo Chavez rises as he gains followers on Twitter. When he reached two million followers he gave a computer to his last follower.

Chavez who battles against cancer can be rarely seen in public but he is very active on Twitter.

Pero Antic leaves national team - offended by fans reactions?

The captain of the Macedonian national basketball team (4th place last year on the European basketball championship), Pero Antic, is leaving the team. Daily newspaper Fokus says that Antic is offended by the writings of some Macedonian newspapers and the reactions of Macedonian fans on the social networks, so he announced his retirement from the Macedonian national team.

He was a target for many critics when he said that he comes from FYROM in a video message right before the quarter finals match in the Euroleague in which he won with his team Olympiakos (Greece). That was not received very well in the Macedonian public. Right after the final match Antic took a photo of himself and his Greek co-player Vassilis Spanoulis holding a Macedonian flag together. Also another video was published in which Pero Antic says that he was forced to say FYROM. If this information is true the Macedonian national basketball team will have a lot of trouble on its way to the Olympic qualifications in Venezuela.

Russian millionaire Pavel Durov (27), founder of the most popular social network in Russia "Vkontakte", chose an odd way for entertainment - he made paper planes out of 5.000 Ruble bills and threw them out the window in the street where his office is.

After a while a large crowd gathered in front of the building in Sankt Petersburg and fights started.
Durov allegedly wanted to make "cheering atmosphere in the city", and on his Twitter profile he wrote that he had to stop because "people turned into animals". It`s estimated that he threw around 1.600 euros.
The act was criticized by the internet community in Russia as "crazy and provocative".
Durov`s fortune is estimated to be around 200 million euros.

Sony announces new series of waterproof smartphones

Sony announced new interesting phones that we can expect during the third quarter of this year.

First they introduced Xperia Acro S, which will be waterproof and a display of 4.3 inches running on Android operating system. Xperia Acro S will have dual core processor of 1.5 GHz and 12 megapixel camera.

Second phone that was introduced was Xperia Go which has 3.5 inch display and also works on Android operating system. It is waterproof and dust proof. This model has dual core processor of 1 GHz and 5 megapixel camera. Xperia Go will be available in three colors - white, black and yellow.

The display on both models will be scratch resistant, and of course you can finally use your phone with wet fingers.

The price for these two phones is still unavailable.

Azerbaijan prevents terrorist attacks during Eurovision 2012 contest

Dozens were arrested, one of the suspects was killed during the arrest because he was resisting, Azerbaijani ministry of national security announced today.

"The ministry of National Security decided not to reveal this information during the Eurosong contest because it might have caused panic among guests and participants".

They also said that the main target of the terrorist group was the capital city Baku during the final night of the competition on 26th May, but thanks to the quick and professional response of the security service the terror plot was thwarted and around 40 people were arrested.

The group planned attacks on the "Crystal Hall" where Eurosong 2012 took place, they've also planned attack on the Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev, police buildings, mosques and other religious objects, hotels where foreign guests were staying etc.

"The service arrested the terrorist group members during the operations carried in Baku, Kyanza, Sumgayit and several other place in Azerbaijan" - Azerbaijani Ministry of National Security adds.

Eurovision 2012 winner in support of Belgrade Pride gay parade

The winner of Eurosong 2012 contest, Loreen from Sweden , supported the Belgrade Pride 2012 gay parade.

In the video message , Loreen is holding a badge in her hand with the logo of the Belgrade Pride event and says: " Hi i am Loreen and I support Belgrade Pride 2012 and you should too".

During her recent visit to Azerbaijan, Loreen met with human rights activists, after she said "In Azerbaijan human rights are violated every day, and we shouldn't be silent about that". Loreen is known for her humanitarian activity, she took part in various UNICEF manifestations and she supports feminism.

Ten days before the start of EURO 2012 (starts on June 8) in Poland and Ukraine, BBC presented a video reportage about the hooligans in the host countries, and openly asked FIFA why did they allow this big football event to be hosted there.
Chris Rogers, BBC reporter, spent one month on the stadiums around Poland and Ukraine and he witnessed beating of a fan "who had wrong color of skin", fights between fans, and he even captured professional fighters who train hooligans how to fight and use knives.
After his return to England, he showed the footage to some of the ex members of England national football team and they were shocked. They appealed to fans that they should stay at home and watch EURO 2012 at home especially the non-white fans.
"Stay at home and watch EURO 2012 on TV. Don`t risk, or you might get back home dead. I think UEFA made a mistake when they chose Poland and Ukraine for hosting this event." - said Sol Campbell, who played 73 games for the English squad.
Many fans took this warning seriously, and some of the family members of the English squad (Theo Walcott) said that they won`t travel to Ukraine and Poland in fear of attacks.

The odd life of Eurovision 2012 winner - Loreen

The winner of the Eurovision 2012 contest Swedish singer - Loreen - lives a very odd life.

She doesn't have a TV, just a lap top which she uses only for e-mailing. Her winning song Euphoria is her third song in the career, but she plans to release an album in September this year. She has 28 years and was raised in a suburb in Stockholm. Her family is from Morocco. She also works as a producer and took part in the Swedish "Idol" in 2004. In 2005 she releases her first single "The Snake" with her band Rob `n Raz.
Loreen says that she likes odd musicians like Bjork. She learnt to play piano while watching the movie "The Pianist" repeatedly.
- I like to create music which reaches my soul, i`m a seeker who avoids information chaos that we are living in. - says Loreen.
She claims to be a loner and that her goal is to unite people in her view of the world - that there is much more than material things in this world, although she admits that these words sound a little bit "hippie".

New iPhone photos leaked

Two blogs, specialized in information connected with Apple, published photos which they say are possible look of the new generation of iPhone.

The images, which were first published by 9to5Mac, were retrieved by a Chinese supplier. The back side of the new iPhone can be seen and it`s made from aluminium, and there are some modifications in the design.

From the photos we can conclude that the new iPhone will have bigger size, smaller connector and redesigned microphone and speaker.

Speculations about the new look of iPhone were made even before this photos so if this is true they only confirm these speculations.

CNET says that according to the experts that they have consulted, the new iPhone will be in the stores around September or October this year, because that period is usually used by Apple for promoting their products.

Shocking: 200 sailors trapped for 5 months in France

Three Moroccan ships are seized and anchored in the harbor Sete in France. Two hundred sailors are on them for 5 months without right to leave them.

The ships are without fuel. The lights are off and so is the heating system. There is no hot water and the toilets are sealed. The whole crew haven`t received payment for few months.

Occasionally a mini van stops buy to deliver some food. When there is no food at all, the company from Tangier which owns the ship sends 1000 - 2000 euros for the officers, so they can buy food.

The sailors are disappointed because their company left them like this. Sometimes the humanitarian organizations leave food at the docks but the sailors refuse to take it.

"We are not beggars. We have decent jobs." - sailors say.

The company Comanav - Comarit which exists for over three decades and transports passengers between France and Morocco is in 200 million euros debt. That`s why the three ships Marrakech, Bni N`sar and Biladi, were seized by the french authorities right after they anchored in Sete.

Breivik acted like teenage girl

Anders Behring Breivik, the man who killed dozens of teenagers because of his strong principles, back in the days was very insecure regarding his looks, that`s why he made plastic surgery to look more "superior".

Breivik testified that he made the surgery after he was attacked by a Pakistani immigrant and had his nose broken, but his friends don`t remember that such incident took place.

One of his friends, who works as a fireman and worked on the day when the attack in Oslo took place, says that Breivik was obsessed with his looks - he used cosmetics for his face and that he was always worried about  his hair style.

Four ex-friends of Breivik who testified in the court in the case against the mass murderer, said that Breivik became preoccupied with immigration after 2006 and that he began to "brand" all Norwegian politicians as "multiculturalists"   and had no understanding for their views.

Ex member of the European Parliament Zoran Thaler faces criminal charges filled by the specialized Public Prosecution in Ljubljana, Slovenia yesterday.Zoran Thaler is accused of corruption while he was serving his mandate in the European Parliament. He is accused of receiving bribe in order to support proposal of amendments in the European Parliament.

The scandal had huge publicity in Brussels and in Slovenia too.
This corruption scandal was discovered by the journalists from the British newspaper "Sunday Time" who offered him the money in an undercover operation.
Although his lawyers and Zoran Thaler himself rejects the accusations made by the Prosecution so far the media and the public are not on his side. The Slovenian anti-corruption commission also stated that there are many elements in this case that suggest that there is a solid ground for the accusations against Zoran Thaler. Of course the court will have the last word.

His name is Blagoje Bakovic, he describes himself as a Serbian writer and in many elementary schools across Belgrade in Serbia he is selling his latest book with а touching title "When I grow up I want to be Nole (Novak Djokovic)". He will probably remembered as a first children`s literature author who introduced gambling in his books.

Arta Dobroshi  actress from Kosovo joined other movie stars to promote her new movie "Trios Mondes" at Cannes Festival.
She was wearing white blouse with blue skirt, but this Albanian from Kosovo while smiling at the fans failed to notice that at one moment she experienced the famous Marilyn Monroe moment.

The skirt didn`t resist the strong wind and showed Arta`s bottom. Judgng by the photos the actress did not notice the incident and continued to smile.

Bono (U2) lost "fortune" on Facebook

The singer who tried very hard to deny that he is the richest musician in the world last week - Bono from U2 - can take a rest after he lost small fortune on Facebook!

In a period of seven days Bono lost almost 342 million dollars, after the initial price of the Facebook stocks has dropped from 38 to 32 $.
Bono through his company Elevation Partners own around 2,3% of Facebook, which the company bought in 2009 for around 90 million dollars.
Last week Bono tried to explain that he is not the richest musician in the world.
"Although some say I`m the richest musician, I`m not nearly as rich as any Beatles, those reports are ridiculous. In Elevation Partners we invest money from other people (their savings or pensions)" said Bono for MSNBC.

Eurovision song contest 2012 winner accused of plagiarism!

Judging by the comments around the web Swedish Eurovision 2012 winner Loreen is accused for plagiarism. Her song "Euphoria" is a copy-paste of the song "Stole my Heart" from the English-Irish band  One Direction. Even before the contest this song was bashed by the critics that in some parts sounds just like Rihanna`s - "We Found Love" or even Katy Perry - "Fireworks".
However most similar song to Euphoria is Stole My Heart. See for yourself

Eden Hazard - new Chelsea player

The next destination for the play maker of OSC Lille - Eden Hazard - will be Chelsea, the football player announced this on his Twitter profile.
"I`m signing for the European Champions League winner!" - wrote the Belgian national team member.
According to the English media, Chelsea allowed Eden Hazard to announce this on his Twitter profile on his demand.
Chelsea managed to outsmart Manchester United and Manchester City who were also interested to get Hazard.
