Peter Jackson has finished shooting "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey"


After 266 days of shooting, the producer of  "The Lord of The Rings" has announced on Facebook that the movie is finally finished, and that we can expect it's premiere in December this year.

"We made it! 266 days of work on the movie "The Hobbit" are over. Big thank you to our great team and the actors, and of course to our fans for their support." - Peter Jackson wrote on his Facebook page.

The world premiere of this new movie, based on J. R. R. Tolkin`s book, will happen by the end of November in New Zealand, while the regular cinema distribution for the first sequel of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" will begin on December 14 2012.

The main role of the hobbit Bilbo Baggins was played by Martin Freeman, while Ian McKellen, Elijah Wood, Andy Serkis, Orlando Bloom,Evangeline Lilly, Bret McKenzie and Cate Blanchett will also appear in this epic adventure.
