Google presents Google Drive

As expected, Google presented their web storage project Google Drive which will be integrated with Google Docs and will allow access from virtually anywhere through various devices including Android and iOS devices.  Integration with Google Docs is excellent thing because it allows coordination and creation of documents and presentations.


Google offers 5 GB space for free, if you want more you can get it for 2.5 $ per month for 25 GB space, 5 $ for 100 GB and 50 $ per month for 1 TB space. With the Google Drive upgrade you get 25 GB of space on your Gmail account.


Interesting thing about Google Drive is that it can open over 30 types of files in a browser, without the need for those files to be downloaded or installing additional software. PDF documents, videos, pictures in Photoshop and other extensions are included.


Google Drive is compatible with PC and Mac.
