Photo: Hurricane Isaac - space photo

Hurricane Isaac hit southern coast of US, especially Louisiana, where it caused a lot of trouble. The picture of course tells a lot more than words, and the proportion and the strength of the hurricane are more than visible on the impressive NASA photos captured by their satellite. 

High resolution photography, which shows the full size of the hurricane Isaac, was photographed with infra-red radiometric technology stationed on Suomi-NPP satellite. This photo was taken at 1:57 AM on August 29th. Night before, the hurricane hit Louisiana coast, where it met the Mississippi river, and the "meeting" ended in big floods.

After this photo was shot, hurricane Isaac lost its strength, and its status was downgraded from hurricane to tropical storm. However, hundreds of thousands residents of Louisiana are without electricity, and many houses are flooded.

Two participants in the second round derby in the English Premier League between Liverpool and Manchester City were captured in an unusual position.

The main referee on the match that was played on Sunday on "Enfield Road", Andre Marriner and Vladimir Kolarov - Serbian international player are "owners" of the "photo of the day".
Marriner was right behind Kolarov when Kolarov was preparing for a free kick for his team. Marriner placed his hands on the back of Kolarov, what he meant with this move remains unclear?

They might be the the best handball players in the world, but they definitely must work on their behavior. The French national handball team has shocked the french public, when they literally demolished the TV studio which was set to celebrate their come back from the London 2012 Olympics.

The most aggressive among the team was their captain , Nikola Karabatic,  who showed his aggressive side on the journalist, which (with the help from his team mate) was almost stripped naked.
The public condemned the behavior, which was obviously caused by too much alcohol in their blood.
